Piotr Grzymisławski – theatre academic, dramaturg and theatre critic. Vice-president of Poznańskie Stowarzyszenie Inicjatyw Teatralnych. Member of HOBO Art Foundation’s board of directors. As a playwright, he worked on documental theatrical project Hans Paasche: Groβpolen Hero (2013) with Bartosz Frąckowiak, on William Shakespeare’s Othello (2015) in Teatr Miejski Gdynia with Waldemar Raźniak and on The Versailles Is Over Here! (2015) in Teatr Polski Bydgoszcz with Rabih Mroue. He also co-worked on Happy Project directed by Nigel Charnock and Przesilenie letnie by Wollny/Szwajgier/Przybysz artistic collective, both realized as part of Art Stations Foundation’s curatorial program “Stary Browar Nowy Taniec”. Editor of a publication called “20/20” (2014) about modern Polish dramaturgy and co-editor of an anthology of the newest Polish drama called “Ikony, pseudoherosi i zwykli śmiertelnicy” (2015). He hosted classes with students at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań’s Katedra Dramatu, Teatru i Widowisk in 2009-2014. In the season of 2011/12 he was a member of artistic commission of the International Contest at Wystawienie Polskiej Sztuki Współczesnej. He wrote for academic and theatrical magazines (for example: “Przestrzenie teorii”, “Teatr”). Right now he’s a dramaturg in Teatr Polski Bydgoszcz named after Hieronim Konieczka.
