The Pornography of Late Polishness is a variation on the text of Tomasz Kozak, inspired also by the music piece Actaeon (a script of “film to be read” by the same author). It is an attempt to propel a philosophical dialogue, whose heart of the matter is a reflections of the curse and further prospects of the suspicious phenomenon of the “Polish form”.
It is an attempt to test the workings of dialectical methods and speculative figures, conducted by three (equally suspicious as the Polish form) persons: the two alleged Tomasz Kozaks and one Dominika Deruk (who abandoned the resonant sounding name of de Roux some considerable time ago).
It is also an attempt at a cooperation of artists who, on a daily basis, work in the fields of visual arts and theatre: the show is created by Weronika Szczawińska – a director, Tomasz Kozak – an artist, a composer Krzysztof Kaliski, actor Szymon Czacki and set designer Natalia Mleczak.
Finally, it is a journey across and backwards to the genre divisions, full of somersaults and twisting of the traditional order of roles in theatre – a journey through the afterimages and echoes of ideas and movies, leading from the past into the future.
